Philosophy

It’s not just a home, it’s a lifestyle.

While other places in the world bear resemblance to the American West, the style it has evoked is altogether unique. Perhaps it’s the marriage of landscape with the legacy of freedom—a combination that has inspired a catalog of intoxicating imagery. Our connection to this place guides everything we do. Our passion is to design for your lifestyle.

Process

01. We Listen

Before we even engage in a client relationship, we listen. Talk to us about your dream. How long have you dreamed about this? Tell us about your project. Where is it? What’s the site like? How will the home be used? What seasons are your favorites? Do you have an architect and builder selected? We get to know our client before we begin, through listening and asking questions. It’s a process of discovery.

02. Assess

Next, we use the architectural plans to further understand the client’s vision.

03. Visualize

We visualize how life will be lived in your home, we design for your dream. We uncover the true meaning of “the home that exists in each of us.” Every vision is different.

04. Define

We define every intricate detail. We search, measure, and review to ensure every single choice will bring your dream to life.

05. Design & Enhance

The process is a journey. We continue to push ourselves throughout. The discipline of our aesthetic is built by layers.  Every choice is essential—every texture, tone, finish, and fiber… We pull from a lifetime of inspiration. We build the palettes, search, collect, find, place, refine, and edit.

06. Synthesize

Every detail is mapped out in an extensive binder:  plumbing, finishes, tile selections, lighting, furniture, and fabrics. We hand off a comprehensive specifications book that will continue to be a resource for the homeowner for years to come.

07. Conclusion

After months of love and attention to detail, we welcome our client in to see the finished product.  At this moment, it’s clear that it’s no longer a house, it’s a home.
